Our Story
A Legacy of Movement
Founded in 2010 by Sofia Martinez and Marcus Johnson, Alan began as a small 800 sq ft space with a big dream: to create a welcoming environment where anyone could discover the transformative power of dance.
What started with just three classes and a handful of students has grown into a thriving dance community with over 2,500 active members, 45 world-class instructors, and a state-of-the-art facility spanning 15,000 sq ft with 8 specialized studios.
Today, Alan is recognized as one of the premier dance studios in the country, producing award-winning performers and nurturing dancers of every age, background, and skill level.
